Taking screenshots on your computer is very easy. You don't need to install any additional software for basic capturing. We've listed screenshot-taking shortcuts for Windows, macOS, and Gnome below. Note: You may need to hold down Fn key in laptops before pressing Print Screen key. If your device does not have the PrtScn button, you may use Fn + Windows logo key + Space Bar to take a screenshot, which can then be printed. To locate your screenshots, open File Explorer from the taskbar. On the side navigation pane, select the Pictures folder, and select Screenshots. View the full list of keyboard shortcuts.

The Windows Print Screen key is normally located at the top right of your keyboard in close proximity to the 'F12' key or 'F-Lock' key and is typically identified by the letters Prt Scrn or Prt Scn. See the example below.
Make sure F-Lock is off before attempting to use the Print Screen Button.
1. Locate and maximize the elements you'd like to capture on screen.
2. To capture the entire screen, just press Prt Scrn. Nothing visual will indicate that you have successfully captured a screenshot until step 4 below.
